credit bureau
Creditors provide each of three credit bureaus (TransUnion, Equifax, Experian) with individual statistics on how their borrowers pay their bills. This includes on-time payment, life of the loan and other historical data. The bureaus will also include any public record information compiled from court records, such as leins.
