Federal Reserve Board
Also known as 'The Fed,' this is a seven-member board of governors appointed by the President to serve 14 year terms. Their responsibility is to establish monetary policies such as interest rates, and to oversee Federal Reserve Banks. Essentially, they monitor the health of the US economy.
